Every now and again I'll water drop a few for my .45 LC to punch through hogs. They do a heck of a lot more damage than one would imagine a non expanding (really, if done right them suckers don't expand for much of nothing) but I make them into SWC's so that flat face smacking into the body creates a bigger pressure wave than one would think.
