I have a mercury recoil reduce tube in a rem 760 30/06 it kicks like a 243. I bought the gun with it in it about six years ago so don't know where it was purchased at. But also have a rem 760 in 270 and ONE in 30/06 and the kick noticeably more. Those pachmayr pads also are nice have them on two 12ga. 3" and they work really nice. Also the limbsaver pads are nice.
