I just use a Sony Handycam. I have a Gorilla camera arm mounted to my Summit tree stand. It took some rigging to get it on there. Basically eliminated the ratchet strap and used a large U bolt to mount it to the stand.
I have a terrible time finding deer in the small viewfinder when trying to position myself for a shot at the same time.
