I hunt Illinois public dove fields, on which they plant sunflowers, I'd assume S.C. does something similar. In my experience, they are good the first few days, but due to hunting pressure, the quality drops off rather dramatically, and you might catch some migrating later, but it's nothing like the beginning of the season.
