What happened to this Extreme, is luck brought a perfect fitting bolt. This bolt is the third one tried in the rifle, and the third time was indeed the charm.

Yesterday, i didn't have time to photograph the uncleaned breech plug, but did so this morning.




















The plug has 7 shots through it this time; no grease or tape was used on the threads. This is one of the new Knight bare primer breech plugs with a brazed in vent liner. It works great in the old Disc Extreme.
