Re-populating
I'm in the Adirondacks, the lay out of my land has 3 very different environments. There is a small mountain, to the east of that there is about 300 acres of heavily wooded area with a large main trail that runs through it, the wooded area leads into a marshy area that connects to a pond, past that pond is a stream that leads to a lake that has wooded area to the west of it and marsh to the south. I have a small rabbit and deer population and a decent sized turkey population. I'm a little over run with predators, I have fox, bobcat, and a large population of coyotes. My first priority is to take care of the coyotes, but after that I want to make the land a great area for deer and rabbit.
What would your suggestions be on how to make the land very inhabitable for the rabbit and deer and increase the population.
