I shot at a 14 point drop tine last year but missed. not a day has gone by that I don't think of that deer. I have seen him one more time since then but he was runnin so I did not take the shot. that is the reason for my sayin on the bottom of my posts. shoot straight. missing a buck like that nomatter how many other you shoot you wil never get over it.
I thought I missed this one. He didn't act hit but when I went over to look for blood before I even found blood I seen brown laying in the high grass.
He wasn't running but he was trailing a doe on the move. I thought I led him to far. He didn't miss a step when I shot but turns out I hit him perfect.
