To the OP---Are you saying you can carry that shotgun uncased in a vehicle in Ohio. You sure can't up here in MI, but out in Wyoming you can have an uncased gun with one in the chamber right in the front seat!
Yes you can carry any gun uncased in ohio. The only law that i know of is that it technically just have to have the chamber opened.
