Default API Grandslam Bowhunter GS2400 Review

I bought my first climbing stand about a month ago. I did a little research first and decided i either wanted a summit or an API from other hunters opinions. I was about to buy my friends summit viper ss that he needed to weld, but i found an API Grandslam Bowhunter GS2400 on craigslist for 120$. He said it only used it for 2 seasons, and everything was in good shape.

Pros
- climbs quiet
- easy attachment with the chain system
- no creaks or sounds when moving in the stand, has never made a the littlest sound when moving around in it or sitting
- very comfortable seat ( easy all day sitter)
- lightweight (at least for me) i think around 25lb ( could easily do a couple mile hike with it)
- open front (no shooting bar or what ever they are called)
- sturdy
- packs up in a minute

Cons
- haven't had any problems with the plastic chain covering although im sure after heavy use it will need replaced
- size, i think its a little on the big side, but i've never used another climber other than a summit viper ss
- can be a little difficult setting up in the dark with the chain system, but easy to adjust to

not sure how old or new this stand is. it looks like its not older than 3-5 years. For what i paid i don't think i could have done much better. Hope this helps anyone looking to get a climber and i would easily recommend this stand.
