Good Luck! haha. I have been in the area for a few years now and have had bad luck trying to find property. I signed up for Suburban Whitetail Management this year.
www.deerdamage.org I just got approved. This might be an option for you. Other than that, I have not had much luck knocking on doors. For some reason this area is hard to come by for getting permission to hunt on private land. I hope this helps some.
