You can be as relaxed as you want but if you have a great bull at 300 yards, the 243 is not the right tool for the job! The season is only so many days!
Who is relaxed?
I use a 7 mag and will take pretty much any high percentage shot that presents itself. I was just relating what I see by hanging around with the dudes around here.
The 243 gets used a lot and with pretty good result.
