less than that if you have lots of deer...I shot a doe and had deer back on the feeder within 15minutes after we cleared out of the area as verified by game cam...
"drop" some apples and corn around and they wont even give a crap you were there....its not baiting it was an accident you dropped them
haha but seriously it doesn't hurt anything to drop some apples just don't do it during hunting season if its not allowed in your state...
