Thanks for the replies so far. Grizzlyman, I have the 2-7X Viper as well and love it. I picked it up just before they went on that crazy closeout price, alas, they are no more. I'm tempted to go for the 3-9X Viper at $300 but I have a lot of other things that need money so will likely stay with my $250 ceiling.
