Lots of hard gobblin' birds on opening morning in southwest KY..... Late green up ,so moving on the birds proved difficult. But,we used the topography and mangaged to knock over 5 nice birds in two and a half days..... My first gobbler responded very little to my calling,but would'nt leave the four hens he was with,and I just set up where I knew they wanted to go....they drug him right by me! 21# with 3/4 inch spurs and a very heavy 11 inch beard.........
