I agree they handle so well. Mine is blued/walnut, and really nice. Previous owner said he bought it new in 2004. I don't know for sure what twist it is, I thought it was a 1:9 from what I've read. I guess I need to call Remington to find out for sure.

I almost bought a LSS .260 back when they were still available, and kinda been kicking myself ever since - which led me to getting the one I have now. I don't have a clue why Remington doesn't offer the .260 in the mountain rifle every year. Its about as perfect as you can get. Heck, its THEIR cartrigde and you can hardly find any guns they offer it in. Savage offers it in more models than Remington, go figure.
