I have an english setter and it' s the best dog I ever had. She is the family baby, loyal, loves the kids, protects the house and has good natural instincts when in the field. Just naturally she stays within 30-40 yards when hunting. When she was a pup I hunted her with a 30 yard lead on her and I guess it kinda stuck with her. They are a little hyper but not so much that it' s annoying.
