I bought a Hi-Point .380 at the gun show a few months back. I only bought it because it was cheap, and it was for my girlfriend. She never shot a gun before this, so I figured it was cheap enough for her to try, and if she didn' t like it, owell. Anyways.....the gun likes to jam. I think it' s all in the magazines though. The mags themselves jam after loading 3-4 rounds into them. I have 2 mags sitting on the monitor waiting to exchange them. Besides that, the gun seems to be a decent plinker. Unless you decide to clean it. It is THE MOST frustrating thing to strip down. I had to beat the pin thing out with a 3 pound hammer. Getting it back together isn' t too fun either. If you have the $, get something else.
