Our Wounded Warrior had a great time last week hunting in Pike County. I had some quality time with him. I am humbled at the sacrifice he and other young men and women make on our behalf.
Justin did not kill a deer last week. He had several opportunities at does and young bucks but could not close the deal on a big one.
He says he's coming back next year and I hope he does indeed come back. He is a quality guy and strong advocate for our military personnel.
If you have the wherewithall to invite a veteran hunting, I encourage you to do so. It is one small way we can show appreciation for their sacrifices.
We have another guy coming in November for a gun hunt.
