I process my own game and I can bone out a deer in about 10 minutes. That's just enough to fire up the grill!!! I'm usually eating backstrap before the deer cools down!!! I bone it out, then take it to the fridge while I cut/package.
As far as gunners being out there, coyote,rabbit,turkey,squirrel,Etc. will also be open for much of the state. I know I'll be out gettin' some coyotes after dark with the rimfire and 12Ga.!!!
