Looking at the Weaver mount base site (
http://www.weaveroptics.com/mountcharts/default.aspx) for the 516 SA (short action) which is what the .243 is, you need a #61 (rear) and #46 (front) for your bases. Rings with a handgun aren't too critical. I would probably go with the low or medium height rings. Hope this helps.
