I like all of them. If they go boom, make smoke, and are accurate I like it. I would never hesitate to use a .45 on deer or black bear. Elk, moose or bigger bears - at least a .50. But lately I am starting to fall in love with my .54 1:70 PRB shooter. I know the .50 will deliver more energy out yonder. But I like getting close and that big old ball will surely put a hurtin on anything that walk, flies or crawls.
And Muley, you take it easy on ol' MD. He's gettin pretty frail in his old age.
