The deer was quartering away....as I shot she turned to an extreme quartering away but not completely facing away. The broadhead entered high on the hip and went into the center of the brisket. The arrow was burried up to the feathers.

Arrow went in at the hip and ran straight into the brisket. If the shot had more of a angle it could have hit the heart.

Worked anyway.

And yes, very good eating. Ate the backstraps/tenderloin today. [:-]
