I, just recently, found myself in the same boat you are now in. I had a Browning A bolt Hunter with a creepy/stiff trigger, however, I purchased a Basix spring kit, installed it myself (in ten mins or less), and walked away a happy man. A small screwdriver and a small diameter punch/drift is all you need; easy! Nothing complicated: 1/2 star on a 5 star scale. It now has a two pound pull; awesome!
