Amen to that.

I hunt with bow, rifle, and m/l. Like them all...and I don't begrude anyone else for what they choose to use...as long as they are responsible.

I have had my bouts with what you are feeling - back when I had alot more time and bowhunted primarily. The last few years as my kids have grown up some and I have no time (buried with sports, etc) I've gotten over those feelings and I'm back to enjoying rifle and m/l again. Hunting is fun for me again. I got a little burned out with "trying to get the big one with a bow", and ended up passing a ton of bucks I could have killed, waiting on that buck that never showed up. I still won't shoot a small one (by my area's standards) but I'm not holding out for the monster that might not even exist. If its a good one for my area, I'm shooting - bow, rifle, or m/l.

You only live once, enjoy the ride.
