First and foremost, Congrats Vermont on a good buck!!! Sorry I have not been on here that often, I will hope to change that. Anyways, I ended up harvesting a doe the other night when I said I was going to the stand that pretty much guarantees a shot at a doe. Shot her right around 4:00 pm, they were moving pretty early with a cold front coming in. Anyways right after I shot her, I called the landowner to tell him I shot a doe, he didnt pick up, but not 10 minutes later he called and said he needed some help with a roadkill buck that was hit about a half mile from where I was. So I walked up to his house and he picked me up and took me to the spot where the buck was hit. We ended up getting a salvage tag for it from a sheriff's deputy. He is a decent buck probably about lower 130's as a 9 pointer. I have strict restrictions to not shoot anything unless it is ungodly big basically because the landowner bow hunts as well. So, it stinks to have a deer like this die. He would of been a good buck in a couple of years. Here is the picture of the buck:
