NULA, One of the best as far as ultra light rifles goes...

btw if I was going to build a ultra light custom rifle/sheep rifle, I'd almost certainly build it on a short action...

Also when talking awesome deer rifle, I think you can buy an awesome deer rifle off the shelf for $700 new, no reason to build a sheep rifle to hunt deer, so if anything I'd build an ultralight sheep rifle that could double as a good deer rifle.

I would think NULA's balance well.

btw I would def give Melvin a call at NULA and talk it over with him/your ideas/his, before simply calling up and ordering.

btw how funny would it be if you sold your custom 300win.mag elk rifle, for a ultraight 300wsm....haha!
