Matt/PA-Steve Jackson.... KE for the PREDATOR.
Matt, and Steve, or anyone else that wants to help, If I am shooting the 27" technically 26.5" with a release, with the predator at 70# would it be a good Idea to go lighter to pick up some velocity, or stay at 453 grains with average speed and KE. Another question is, if I speed up the bow, will it afford me more KE because velocity is part of the KE equation? I want to be in the 60's somewhere for ft/lbs.
I am shooting, Steelforce cut from tip. If I hunt moose, I wanna be able to blow an arrow right through the ribcage. Thank's for any arrow, tip, fletch combinations you could give me, staying with in the 7-5gr per# mark.
I aslo like the forgivness of 5" feathers.
Good shooting.
