sidelock scope damage
I recently put a scope on my Renegade and the blow back has left a white film on the scope. I cleaned as much as i could off with steel wool but i still have the film in the cracks and crevices. How much should I worry about the film it is leaving. I have cleaned it with soap and water with toothbrush. I also changed nipple to stop the blow back but have not verified it yet. I have considered wrapping the scope with camo duck tape but am really unsure about this move.
