Default brm bore hone

has anyone used the brm bore hone on there rifles or shotguns yet? ive been using their hones for awhile now at the shop (oil industry part, not critical bore dia. but critical on the finish) but we no longer have a working air gauge so i have no real way to get a ACCURATE deep hole measurements aside from maybe ordering in a tiny telescopic gauge which i honestly cant trust past 0.0005. i am worried that this type of hone maybe make the bore out of round and even more likley to cause oversizing in the wrong areas since the tool has no real rigidity and is self guiding.
