I think Extremes are already available and at a very reasonable MSRP even with a bare primer conversion. Its well worth the few extra bucks over a CVA which will be discounted 50% when next years models arrive.
Every year CVA dumps the previous years model in mass quantities and kills the value. Its a pretty common practice with importers that can sell things much cheaper with over seas labor and manufacturing costs. The EPA, Unions and other agencies here have forced US companies to charge more than many other countries. Its no wonder so many have built plants in Mexico.
Nearly all guns lose value and im not a gun salesman ( i keep most of mine) but this tactic has put many US companies into bankruptcy or close. Knights and T/Cs tend to hold their value a bit longer and the best models hold it even longer. I can still get full MSRP for my GMB54 and nearly full MSRP for my Savage if i wished.
Good luck trying to do the same with a Spanish import. Italian imports seem to hold value well and IMO are way more desirable if you want an import due to their VERY strict CIP proof testing. The Pedersoli Denali is built like a tank and every barrel is tested to about 3 times its rated load data and given about 40 different checks for signs of damage according to their website.
