I think there are two different things at play here. One is that they have not met their production goals. It sounds as if quality is of utmost importance so I agree they should hold off on shipment until all parts meet specs.
Secondly, and more bothersome, is a problem with communication. Someone who ordered a rifle over 6 months ago and has been promised shipment several times should not have to "Call Knight". Knight should be in close contact with these people letting them know what is happening and why. That is called Customer Service.
These are 2 very valid points!!! I do believe that it is bad for business if you tell the public that they will be shipping next week and have no intentions of that happening. I deal with the public a lot, and they don't like to be mislead. Although Obama got by with it?!??!?!?!?
