so I upped my powder charge to 110 grains of powder and was getting about 1 3/4 inch 5 shot groups at a 120 yards. Not by no means great but good enough for me to shoot at hogs.
Onetohunt, you killing me here. How dare you go hunting with a load that won't do any better than that!
Honestly, all of those one hole groups we see posted and strive for are fun to pursue and even more fun to achieve once in a while. But I can tell you it's sure not the norm (at least not for me). As far as I'm concerned, anything under three inches at 100 yards is an acceptable hunting load, and under two inches is a mighty fine hunting load.
