If worried about his hips have an xray taken and have the dogs hips rated.
I would not be worried.

I don't think that I would be worried either --- BUT, at 1.5 years, you can only get a
preliminary rating. The
actual xrays and ratings can't be done until the dog is 24 (or more) months of age.
