When targeting a scope you want to watch what kind of Field of view you have on low power. Turkey shots are commonly 30 yards so you don't need a lot of magnification so a low power will be 2- maybe 3 and thats what I use. What you want is the field of view so if the bird runs or is moving fast you have room to keep it in it while your lining up the hairs...
