If you study the pic, the brow tines are spaced normally on a mature deer and the buck has a high rack. The marks above the two brow tines are from the deer's tips as he was rubbing downwards. Mature buck with a big attitude, my guess is he just got his butt whooped and that was the tree he chose to take it out on.
