Springfield does make good weapons as well, but for a self defesne gun a Glock ranks right up there in reliablility as a reolver and not any other Semi auto handguns can say that they have been proven as much as the Glock. Plus you dont get anymore simple then a glock and when it comes down to it simple is the best way if your life depends on it.
