Try skimming back through the posts in the guns section and firearm review and look for all posts titled H&R ultra slug hunter or USH. This is a common issue and I know several threads have discussed out to take it apart and clean it out. I think it had to do with burrs or metal dust from the machining never being cleaned out during assembly of the gun. Unfortunatly the forums dont let you search for the terms H&R or USH... to short I guess.
