Well, I picked up a box of 165 gr. Ballistic Tips and gave them a try with Reloader 22 and IMR 4350 since that is what I have. The groups I got with both powder sucked. They were about 2 - 4 inch groups, high, and right from what I get with 180 gr prohunters and partitions using the same powder. I have not yet got any 165's to shoot good except SST's using varget and I usually have one flier shooting a 3 shot group.
What do you guys think? Try a new powder? I'm thinking my next one to try will be IMR4064 because it seems popular on the internet for 3006 and it is available.
