First, welcome to the forum! Lots of good advice and conversations to be had here.
Regarding camo...over the years I've come to the conclusion that the deer aren't impressed with the latest (over-priced) camo patterns. I've observed no difference in their behavior whether I'm wearing actual hunting camo or old military fatigues. As long as it breaks up your outline and blends into the background, it will work. Therefore, just find something that blends in and is comfortable and you're in business. If money is no option to you, just spend it on your bow and other equipment or a good tree stand.

That stuff actually can make a difference, as opposed to spending extra on the latest camo at Cabelas.
