It really depends on how much you want to spend on ammo. Any 150 grain psp will do just fine on deer provided it shoots well from your gun. I've killed many deer with my .308 using Federal Premium 150 grain Nosler ballistic tips and that round is absolutely deadly. This year I'm switching to the Hornady Superformance 150 grain SST. The reason being is that the bullet is very similar to the Nosler Ballistic Tip that I've been using, it's a faster round, and most importantly, they're about $12 a box cheaper than the Federals!!!
