Hey guys, I'm looking for some opinions on where you think I should hunt.
Green is the path I took scouting yesterday.
Red is where I have seen deer movement while scouting.
Yellow is a corn field that is not cut and from what I have been told will not be cut.
White dots are where I have found oaks that were dropping acorns like crazy.
Blue of course is a dried up creek bed.
I have hunted once in the steep corner of the field with the corn in it and that is where I saw two bucks and one was a monster. The only problem is there are no trees you can go above 10-12 feet in. When I saw the bucks, I was looking for a tree to hang my stand in...lol.
I have hunted the SW point twice where I have seen 4 bucks come out right at dusk when I was pre-season scouting. I haven't seen anything from my stand yet.
Would you hunt the corn or move into the oaks?
