I tore a rotator cuff several years ago and had to goto a xbow for the remainder of a season. I bought a Barnett Revolution off the shelf at WalMart. I killed two or three deer with it and had no problems with the bow at all. I sold it and went back to my bow the following year so I can't speak long term. Good luck.
