Well believe it or not ..... Tonight I took a head shot on a doe. Yep, she was walking down the middle of the road. Hit her right in the head with my left front corner clearance light on my Nissan pickup. It was a couple hrs after dark and she was walking away from me. So just as I saw her rear end and swerved a little to the right she turned her head and I smacked it. Hardly no damage just broke the clearance light. Dropped the doe right where she stood. The officer that came out and wrote me a salvage tag for the doe said he thought I was real lucky not to have any damage to my truck. she was a good size doe maybe 180 dressed. Brought her home and she is now in the freezer except for the back-strap. Tonight a head shot worked well. I would take one again because from what I saw tonight it's ethical and effective as well as humane. ( This is a true story)
