Default Whitetail Hunt- Central TX.

This hunt is on a relatively small ranch (300 acres) that is situated next to a 14,000 acre Natl Guard Armory that is not hunted. The Natl Guard area is fairly dense with game cover and a lot of deer come onto this ranch to feed and water.

The owner of this particular 300 acres only allows commercial hunting a couple of times a year (one weekend in Nov and one in Dec, usually) and was not hunted commercially at all last year. The unique placement of this ranch next to such a large unhunted area makes it attractive to all types of native game.

It is low fenced and lots of deer and turkey are in the area. I will put this ranch toe to toe with any other ranch it's size in the state and is better than many, much larger, ranches.

Deer, Hogs and Turkey come to this ranch to feed and water.

You will be allowed 1 buck and 1 doe per hunter. Turkey and varmints available upon presentation.

Lodging is not available on this ranch but there are hotels and resturants within 10-15 minutes of the property. This hunt is located just south of Brownwood, TX, in Brown County. Approximately 130 miles north of Austin and about 2-3 hours south of DFW.

The cost of this hunt is $1,450, which will be in December. A 2-hunter minimum is prefered also.
