Well I went back out to the range today. Started out again with 85 grains and still could not hold a group together. I thought for the heck of it I would try 90 grains. Boy what a difference 5 grains made. After alittle adjustment with the scope I had two shots dead center and touching. Then two shots two inches right and one inch low. The other three shots were almost center but low. I think the reason I lost dead center was lack of focus. There was a elder gentleman with a 17 HMR and was having a heck of a time sighting it in. Well in shooting my last shots I was helping him and just wasn't focused. Got him all sighted in though, so that is a plus for today. But I'm slowly figuring this gun out. Also I checked my sabots to see if they were torn up or any damage if I had lands in my barrel. They looked flawless, could almost use them again. I should be able to have this figured out before hunting season, just 11 days till black bear season.
