Just brought a .308 home last week. Had difficulty with the scope options and found a CRICKET 4 power with the correct bases for this rifle. Problem is you have to lean into the scope an inch to an inch and a half to get full view. Rifle shot a 3.5 group @ 100yds with iron sights, I went to the range today and fine tuned the scope (used a laser bore sight at home, first) after 3 shots was placing 3 rounds in a one inch group. Incidentally I also purchased 440 rounds of 7.62 NATO for $159 and used these rounds at the range, both times. In short, for under $250 I'll take the Baikal every chance I get.
