1/2 acre?
i dunno bout this for that much land, but i have 6 of these.
i use 4X8 frames with chicken wire..it was free...to put over the tops of areas that i want to grow taller..
but its just good for 8 inches (i had free 2X8 boards that i built the 4X8 frames with)
but ya have ta keep an eye on them, cause once they grow through the chicken wire, your kinda shreddin everything pullin it off...but basically i just move em around to the areas that need to regrow, and there is a fat patch unveiled to the deer.
sometimes i just lean em on a tree, cause there arnt any bare spots.
it works great on the peas, we even took some home lol
