Sure IMR can be used, but out of all the powders with the same numbering between Hodgson and IMR, 4831 is vastly different. IMR seems much faster than H4831sc. I would drop the load 4 full grains for IMR4831. Work up noting pressures.

Hodgdon's webpage has extensive data for 130gr and 140gr.
