Start as low as you can and let HER work upto what she is comfortable shooting.
IMO for out to roughly 100yards, 80grs of either powder is plenty with that bullet and expansion is very reliable. Very cost effective option IMO.
she's been shooting 75 gr 777, i was going to do exactly what you suggested, try 80 and maybe 85 depending on how she feels about it. and i seriously doubt if she will ever shoot beyond a 100 yds.we have a utah muzzy hunt coming up end of september and i can get her on a smalller buck within a 100 yds with no problem.i am going to experiment with the gold dots somemore in my triumph and may just use them exclusively.
