I don't think we have permission to hunt in the willows either A different guy owns the willows and he is a wildlife photographer and, while he hunts turkeys too, I don't think he wants anyone hunting his land. He's in the process of turning the willows into a wetland habitat because he really loves waterfowl hunting. We did get permission to hunt in the field on the other side of the willows where they always go to strut, but only after the landowner has gotten his bird. His season starts tomorrow, so hopefully he will get one the first day and we can get out there Friday.
